Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. This key position supports the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making skills are required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00.

This is a seasonal role from July 7, 2025, to August 29, 2025.

This position will remain open until August 15, 2025.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
  2. Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
  3. Fulfill all event expectations, including requisitioning during events, post-event breakdown, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
  4. Oversee and ensure appropriate stocking levels for each event; rotate and maintain product integrity.
  5. Ensure proper transfer processes of product between locations, including documentation.
  6. Perform routine maintenance; responsible for cleaning and maintaining concession and utility equipment such as portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure all equipment is properly manifested and located.
  7. Conduct walk-throughs of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after each day to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective communication with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests in a professional and courteous manner to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ability to make quick, sound business and operational decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of all existing concessions locations, equipment, evacuation procedures, and access points.
  • Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local regulations.
  • Knowledge of sanitation requirements, food prep guidelines, alcohol policies, and safety standards related to venue operations.
  • Basic math skills related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory management.
  • Proven warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience is a plus.
  • Food service certification.
  • Forklift certification.
