Penske Logistics is seeking a Sanitation worker for the 2nd shift to maintain cleanliness and safety in a high-volume warehouse in Grand Prairie, TX. You will perform daily sanitation tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and document health and safety logs.

This position requires reliable attendance, ability to follow directions, and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and a boot allowance after 90 days.

Mansioni

• Proficiently mop, sweep, scrub, and vacuum to maintain cleanliness.
• Empty trash, clean areas, and operate trash compactor as needed.
• Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on rotation.
• Clean spills and determine recyclability or disposal per safety rules.
• Maintain other warehouse areas including break rooms and restrooms.
• Complete daily sanitation logs and use cleaning equipment.

Scheduled:

Monday-Friday 4:30PM- end of production

Wage:

$19.26 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable
• Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis
• Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements
• Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc.
• Complete daily sanitation logs
• Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment
• Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties
• Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions requiredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
