Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker in Huber Heights, OH to support receiving, stocking, and order filling in a fast-paced distribution setting.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and a strong work ethic. Monday through Friday hours are 7:30am–2:00pm, with opportunities for training and growth within a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management.

• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
