Complete Staffing LLC is seeking a Welders' Assistant for a Metal Superstore in Orange, TX. The role involves receiving shipments, stocking materials, pulling orders, and safely loading trucks. A forklift is used daily, with a focus on inventory accuracy and workplace safety.

The position is temp to hire with a starting pay of $16.00/hr and a 520 hr probationary period. Benefits include health insurance, 401K with match, and PTO after conversion.

We are hiring a Welders' Assistant for a Metal Superstore in Orange, TX!

Job Description

• Receive and check incoming shipments of steel, panels and fasteners against packing lists
• Stack, store, and label material so it can be found quickly and stays undamaged
• Pull orders and kits, count and double-check them, and stage them for pickup or delivery
• Load customer orders and company trucks safely
• Operate a forklift to move steel beams, bundles and pallets
• Help with inventory counts and flag low stock or damaged material
• Keep the warehouse, yard, and loading areas clean and safe

Required

Preferred

• 1+ year of warehouse, lumber yard, building supply, or shipping experience
• Forklift certification or experience
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean record

Working conditions

Shop work around heat, sparks, noise, and fumes. Some days may include loading material or helping on job sites.

PAY:

Starting pay is $16.00/hr with a 520 hr. probationary period.

This is a temp to hire position.

Work Hours

Standard hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m., 1 hr lunch
