Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our steel warehouse. This position plays a key role in handling, storing, and distributing steel products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Occasional overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming steel materials and shipments
• Load, unload, move, and stage steel products using forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment
• Pick, band, and prepare steel orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Accurately label, measure, and identify steel materials per job or order specifications
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet deadlines
• Perform additional warehouse or yard duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or steel industry experience preferred
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience a plus (training may be provided)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with steel materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work occasional overtime
