Job Responsibilities

1. Read customer orders from the label screen and select products by slot and description.
2. Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets in the proper sequence.
3. Attach labels to products.
4. Operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to navigate to correct slot locations and transport products to the dock area for staging.
5. Handle products with care.
6. Report any damage to merchandise, equipment, or facilities to a supervisor.
7. Perform daily equipment checks.
8. Assist with facility clean-up and sign off on the assigned cleaning areas.
9. Sign in and out for all equipment used.
10. Use basic communication skills to understand work systems and instructions.
11. Follow all GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies as outlined in the European Imports - Sysco Food Safety Training Manual.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Frequently lift products weighing 10lb - 75lbs, up to 100lbs.
3. Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
4. Constantly bend and twist during operation of electric pallet jacks or forklifts, especially when retrieving products from lower shelves.
5. Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
6. Stand for 10 - 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

1. One year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
2. One year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
3. One year of selection experience.
4. Two years of consistent work history preferred.
