Job description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker/Material Handler to join our fast-paced team in Billerica, MA 01821. Pay Rate: DoE
1st Shift - 8:30 am - 5 pm

Job Summary:
Perform various logistics and material handling duties including picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting to support distribution, shipping, stockroom and receiving. Support manufacturing and engineering in regards to filling/stocking component inventory, packaging/shipping, and SAP/tracelink transactions as needed. Responsible for ensuring packaging/shipments are on-time to the customer and accurate. Will provide data entry and support to engineering department for stockroom inventory entry and reconciliation.

Area of Responsibility

• Support warehouse and engineering personnel with packaging/shipping along with Stockroom inventory
• Pick, pack, and ship orders on a daily basis using SAP system and hand-held scanner and printer to input customer information
• Create and print required paperwork and ship product to internal and external partners

• Stock and stage warehouse for delivery of incoming materials using SAP system
• Assist Material department as required in the expediting and rescheduling of material to meet or exceed company goals and objectives
• Receive and log into SAP all incoming materials/product/deliveries
• Executes Good Receipts transactions for goods and services in SAP
• Performs data entry or paperwork to record inventory levels or shipping/receiving activity
• Distribute incoming materials to the appropriate department as required
• Follow ISO, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) procedures
• Maintain accurate records of Finished and Raw Material Inventory
• Package product for shipping
• Ability to work independently after being given solid direction
• Assist with loading or unloading materials/packages
• Operate warehouse equipment with strong attentiveness to safety requirements
• Perform warehouse housekeeping duties of designated areas
• Fill/stock production material for manufacturing as required
• Create engineering spare parts inventory list
• Add engineering spare parts inventory into SAP
• Add safety stock and re-order quantities to the engineering spare parts inventory
• Ensure engineering spare parts physical inventory are transferred to Warehouse or designated area (Outside Storage)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP system or WMS (e.g. SAP)
• Ability to use hand trucks and warehouse lift pallet jack
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint experience
• Basic computer skills
• Current Driver’s License and good driving record required
• Exhibit a high level of integrity and honesty
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
