Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse associates in Las Vegas, NV. The role offers a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented environment with a steady work schedule. Base pay is $20/hour, with benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a temperature‑controlled facility. Candidates should have forklift, reach truck, or RF scanner experience preferred, and be able to read, follow directions, and perform accurate

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Standup Forklift, Reach Truck/ Order Picker & RF scanner experience preferred
• Be a collaborative and team player
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required (English and Spanish preferred)
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate multiple types of material handling equipment (MHE) including standup forklift, reach truck and order pickers and multiple attachments used with these equipment types
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Attention to detail across multiple items, materials and products
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Stack and secure picked product in a stable manner for shipping
• Select and process multiple orders at a time
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Able to systematically move and manage inventory accurately utilizing RF Scanner
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Strong communication skills required. Ability to communicate across multiple departments and shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
