Profile

Purpose and Scope: Works in a team setting to reach warehouse operations goals. Performs basic warehouse duties including shipping, packing, loading, unloading, and sorting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely using appropriate tools and equipment.
2. Move products to storage areas, stack, and store merchandise according to procedures, ensuring orderliness and accessibility.
3. Review orders for shipment, prepare products, and ensure correct quantities and types are loaded and shipped.
4. Perform picking duties adhering to company standards and SOPs.
5. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
6. Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
7. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and string functions as required.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with OSHA and MSDS standards.
9. Assist in maintaining warehouse security, keeping accurate records, and conducting physical inventories.
10. Ensure proper stock rotation and maintain equipment in good condition.
11. Support additional warehouse functions such as cycle counting, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and inspecting stock for wear or defects.
12. Assist junior staff and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Requires lifting and carrying loads up to 60 pounds, walking, standing for extended periods, and operating power equipment. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

• Familiarity with warehouse operations and radio frequency equipment is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
