Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise to be shipped to Petco stores by receiving, moving, and stocking warehouse goods.
• Perform routine tasks related to warehouse operations, including safety-sensitive activities that require drug testing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks.
• Repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Use hand-held computers to scan merchandise barcodes.
• Operate computerized pick modules.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position generally does not involve supervising others; however, management may occasionally delegate additional responsibilities, including providing guidance to others.

Work involves extensive bending, carrying, lifting (exceeding 50 pounds routinely), and climbing. The environment includes exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise within the warehouse. While some duties may be performed outdoors, most work is indoors. Safety precautions should be observed due to the risk of injury.
