Job summary

Terumo Medical Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform receiving, picking, packing and shipping with attention to inventory integrity and quality system adherence. The role emphasizes accurate order fulfillment and safe operation of warehouse equipment.

You will follow procedures, participate in inventories, and assist in onboarding new teammates while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

  • Able to read multi-digit part numbers and lot numbers to pick correct items.
  • Ability to independently complete routine tasks with some problem solving.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
  • Basic math skills for inventory and records.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods at a workstation.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, palletize and store incoming shipments.
  • Verify accuracy against packing lists and assign locations.
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders with high accuracy.
  • Report issues to lead or supervisor for investigations.
  • Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain equipment records.
  • Support process improvements and onboarding of new associates.

Job Summary

As a regulated medical device organization our Warehouse Workers are critical to the receiving, picking, packing and shipping of customer orders with care and quality while helping to maintain inventory integrity.

  • Associate is responsible to follow requirements of TMC Quality System; including but not limited to requirements for traceability of product, recognizing customer complaints and the requirement to forward information to QA, and the Quality System requirements for Distribution centers.
  • Responsible for processing of incoming shipments including unloading trucks, palletizing or re-palletizing product, confirming accuracy of incoming shipments against packing list, receiving product and warehousing to assigned location.
  • Responsible for picking/packing/shipping of customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including accurately selecting products in accordance with customer order specifications.
  • Brings issues to the attention of lead or supervisor for investigation. May perform targeted investigations under the direction of the lead or supervisor.
  • Participates in all physical inventories and cycle count activities. Must adhere and follow written procedures to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Requires ability to operate various material handling equipment with proficiency and safety.
  • Maintaining warehouse in clean and organized manner.
  • Confirm that warehouse equipment is in good working condition before use. Accurately complete any records required of equipment operation and time. Notify supervisor or lead of any issues with warehouse equipment.
  • Participates in project performance team meetings on behalf of the job unit in order to provide ideas, methods, or processes for unit/company performance improvement. May participate in implementation of improvement activities as part of a project team.
  • Mentors and trains new associates as part of onboarding activities as requested by manager.
  • Follows procedures and identifies opportunities to clarify where needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret multi-digit alpha numeric part numbers and lot number and differentiate between similar products in order to select appropriate product for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Able to independently complete routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to utilize automated scanning and data entry equipment.
  • Basic math skills for proper inventory and record-keeping.
  • Requires the ability to lift at least, but not limited to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time at a work- station.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
  • High School Degree or GED.
  • 0 - 1-year experience within a distribution center.
  • Experience driving forklift and operating other distribution center machinery a plus.

Final compensation packages may be higher or lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
