Set up, operate, maintain high speed and/or manual production equipment to efficiently produce a quality product and provide training assistance as needed. Receives requirements for order and up-coming changeovers from Supervisor. Requires minimal supervision.
Manufacturing Operator IIs have responsibility for other personnel and will provide training and direction to less experienced personnel as requested.
Position requires gowning procedures for controlled environment. Typicaly works around high speed machinery requiring close attention to safety to prevent physical entanglement, product jams, etc. May at times require the use of hearing protection if working in high noise level area. May work with chemicals and solvents requiring special handling and additional personal protective equipment.
