Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Worker I in Norcross, GA for a 6-month assignment. You will handle receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack operation, RF scanning, and ability to lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly. On-site schedule is Mon–Fri, 7AM–4PM, with potential early departure depending on workload.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly during shifts.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick merchandise from assigned slots and confirm quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate trucks.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and assist with packing.
• Shrink wrap pallets and ensure secure packaging.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report inventory issues.
• Operate RF scanner and pallet jack as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Warehouse Worker I

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM (Could possibly leave early depending on work load)

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. Knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF).

Essential Duties

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.


• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.


• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.


• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.


• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.


• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.


• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, "Preferred Method Standard".


• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.


• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.


• Performs house keeping duties as assigned.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
