Job summary

Reliance, Inc., a plant operations employer in Georgia, seeks a forklift operator to load and unload materials, move pallets, verify loads, and maintain a clean, safe work area. You will operate industrial forklifts, check schedules, and ensure accurate handling of goods per production needs.

The role is hybrid, involving order pulling and truck loading, with Monday–Friday evening to early morning shifts and occasional shift changes to support production.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must obtain certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting.
• Adequate manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.

Job Summary

Monday - Friday 6pm - 2:30am.

Shift fluctuation sometimes required between 2nd and 3rd. (2nd shift Monday- Friday 2:30pm - finish 3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 6am)

Hybrid position - assists with order pulling and truck loading

This job is in the Plant family (Department), which includes positions responsible for supervising or performing metals processing and distribution work. Work includes specialized equipment operation and/or supporting functions and requires a practical knowledge of the nature and operations and the materials, facilities and methods employed by Phoenix Metals in metals processing and distribution.

Required Skills

• Clear oral and written communication skills, particularly legible handwriting required.
