Home Market Foods is hiring a High-Reach Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker in Norton, MA. This role moves ingredients, materials, and finished goods through the facility with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, picking, loading, and shipping while meeting productivity targets and quality standards. Applicants should have forklift certification and warehouse experience, plus English literacy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred—high reach forklift.
• ERP experience preferred; Microsoft D365 experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Verify products before picking and loading to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Inspect incoming finished goods transfers and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Verify inbound dry materials and complete truck inspections per SQF and allergen-control requirements.
• Prepare, secure, and stage orders for loading using mobile technology.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse to support organization and maximize storage space.
• Identify, investigate, and report damaged materials or trailers to leadership.
• Maintain clean warehouse areas that meet food safety standards.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
• Work independently while demonstrating initiative and accountability.

We’re looking for a skilled High-Reach Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker to help keep ingredients, materials, and finished goods moving smoothly through our Norton, MA facility.

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $23/hour
• Shift Differential: Additional $1/hour
• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Up to $4,800 annually through our Pay for Performance program
• Attendance Incentive: Up to $2,000 annually for perfect attendance (per company guidelines)

Position Overview

The Freezer and Dry Storage Warehouse Operator ensures the accurate movement of products throughout the facility. Responsibilities include receiving, put‑away, picking, loading, and shipping while meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Success in this role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a customer-focused mindset. Every order you handle helps deliver the right products to customers on time and in full.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively to support daily operational goals
• Maintain clean warehouse areas that meet food safety standards
• Assist team members with shipping and receiving issues as needed
• Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations
• Work independently while demonstrating initiative and accountability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred-high reach forklift
• Experience with warehouse documentation and inventory processes required
• ERP experience preferred; Microsoft D365 experience is a plus
• Knowledge of manufacturing inventory systems preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Moderate noise level in the work environment
