Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, pick, pack and ship products for patient care. You will learn multiple areas of the warehouse and support efficient product flow.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy and teamwork, with on-the-job training and potential overtime to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality control, packing and shipment preparation.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack and walkie rider.

Shift: Sunday through Thursday
Sunday: 6:00pm - until task completion
Monday through Thursday: 8:30pm - 5:00am (or until task completion)
Overtime is required based on business needs

Anticipated hourly range:$25.00 per hour - $25.70 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

• Mustbe flexible to work overtime as needed

• Ability to follow direction and change priorities

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements

• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus

• High School Diploma/GED preferred

• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents
