Work Environment

This position involves working in a cold storage facility (34°F to 55°F).

Job Responsibilities

• Matching numbers & letters accurately
• Staging and sorting products for loading
• Loading/unloading trailers
• Opening/closing dock doors
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Sorting and placing parts in racks
• Pulling dock chains, stacking boxes/pallets
• Moving materials within the warehouse
• Following safety protocols
• Packaging and labeling products for shipping
• Scanning products with warehouse management systems
• Quality control and damage inspection
• Completing logs and reports
• Communicating across shifts
• Reading work orders and recording unit counts
• Assembling containers and crates
• Repacking damaged containers
• Reading schedules and orders for item movement
• Storing perishable goods in refrigerated areas
• Fulfilling material requests and distributing items
• Assembling customer orders and preparing shipments
• Weighing and counting items
• Using computers to record data
• Maintaining inventory records
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading and following instructions
• Ability to work independently, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
• Flexible to work overtime
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Regular attendance essential
• Willing to work at the specified location and schedule
• Complete application, background check, and drug screening required

Physical Requirements

• Must meet physical and mental demands, with reasonable accommodations available
• Ability to see, communicate verbally, and understand instructions
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
