Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Groveport, OH is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑minded team. The role offers a base wage of $20.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm schedule, and overtime as needed.

You will pick/pack, operate equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks, and participate in training and background checks. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, PTO, and a boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multitasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Complete a Penske employment application, background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight.
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor.
• Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate equipment (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker).
• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Scanning and counting parts.
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
