Job summary

Target is hiring for Warehouse Worker roles with pay from $24.90 to $28.70 per hour, plus possible shift differentials of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour based on eligibility. Progression within the role can increase pay over time.

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse position in a Supply Chain Facility, with opportunities to grow within Target. Responsibilities include packing, loading, shipping, inventory handling, safety compliance, and operating powered equipment after training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 35–50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Able to push carts up to 60 lbs and move items with hand trucks.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach during shifts.
• Able to read labels and product documentation.
• Able to operate computer systems/handheld devices after training.

Job description

Warehouse Worker roles starting at $24.90 per hour. The pay range is $24.90 to $28.70 per hour.

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

As a progression Team Member, there is an opportunity to grow your pay based on your tenure in your role .

• Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.

• Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time.
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
• Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

Job Requirements

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at a height of up to 40 ft. on a mezzanine (where applicable).
• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Food Distribution Center Only

• Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer.
