Job summary

Target is hiring Warehouse Workers in Cedar Falls, IA to support growing distribution operations. Shifts run Tuesday to Friday, 4:00PM-2:00AM and Sunday, Monday, Saturday, 6:00PM-6:00AM, with pay starting at $22.50 per hour and a range up to $25.08 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus applies to seasonal and permanent positions.

The role involves lifting 35–50 lbs regularly, standing, and operating pallet jacks and forklifts after training. Benefits and discounts are included where eligible.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently.

Current shift openings at this location: Warehouse Worker Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 4:00PM-2:00AM Sunday, Monday, Saturday 6:00PM-6:00AM

Warehouse Worker roles starting at $22.50 per hour. The pay range is $22.50 to $25.08 per hour.

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

Team members must be in an active & eligible role in good standing to receive payout after 90 days of employment.

Job Requirements

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at a height of up to 40 ft. on a mezzanine (where applicable).
• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Food Distribution Center Only

• Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer for majority of shift.
