Target is hiring Warehouse Workers in New Jersey. Roles start at $24.65 per hour with a base range of $24.65 to $27.65 per hour, plus potential shift differentials of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour based on eligibility.

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs, use carts and hand trucks.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at heights up to 40 ft on mezzanine where applicable.
• Must understand, speak and read English to follow safety policies and instructions.

Warehouse Worker roles starting at $24.65 per hour. The pay range is $24.65 to $27.65 per hour.

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

What does a role as a Warehouse Worker look like?

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

• Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.

• Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.

• Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.

• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.

• Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time.

• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.

• Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

Job requirements:

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.

• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment tomove items.

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.

• Work at a height of up to 40 ft. on a mezzanine (where applicable).

• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.

• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction afterreceiving training.

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limitedto Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.

• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to followsafety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Food Distribution Center only:

• Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer
