Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Laredo, Texas to join a safety-focused team. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekends/holidays as required, and a base rate of $21.63 per hour.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Secure picked products for shipping.
• Process multiple orders at a time.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Follow safety requirements and participate in safety practices.
• Use warehouse management system to scan products.
• Quality control and damage identification.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Stack and secure picked product in a stable manner for shipping
• Select and process multiple orders at a time
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required (Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred)
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
