Job summary

Havertys in Braselton, GA is seeking an energetic Warehouse/Equipment Operator to join our distribution team. You will safely operate lifts, move merchandise between staging areas, and ensure accurate tagging while upholding Havertys standards for quality and safety.

Daily responsibilities include load/unload, maintaining a clean work environment, and complying with all safety programs. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs, pass a drug test, and complete physical assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs repeatedly.
• Must complete and understand all company sponsored safety programs.
• Must have a clear criminal background and be able to pass a physical and drug test.
• Operation of stockpicker/cherrypicker required.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift and move merchandise between staging areas and warehouse racks.
• Ensure all merchandise is tagged correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free from trip hazards.
• Load and unload shipments; assist with deliveries.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to safely operate stockpicker/cherrypicker
• Heavy lifting required

Specific Duties

• Responsible for daily inspection, and safe operation of lift.
• Lifts and moves merchandise between staging areas and warehouse racks.
• Makes sure that all merchandise is tagged correctly.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and clear work environment, free from trip hazards.
• Must observe all safety policies and regulations
• Heavy lifting required.
• Must complete and understand all company sponsored safety programs.
• Must have a clear criminal background and be able to pass a physical and drug test.
• Sock racks with incoming merchandise and pull merchandise off racks for scheduled deliveries.

Physical Demands

• Must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position.
• You must be able to stand for extended periods and operate various equipment, such as cherry pickers and clamp trucks. Responsibilities include moving furniture to/from racks and loading/unloading trucks.
