Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc is seeking a Warehouse 3rd Shift Lift Operator in Braselton, GA. You will stock racks, pull merchandise for deliveries, and operate equipment safely on a fast-paced distribution team.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving or warehouse environment preferred.

• Heavy lifting up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to pass background check, lifting assessment, and drug test including THC.
• Must complete safety programs.
• Safety compliance and proper PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Stock racks with incoming merchandise and pull merchandise for deliveries.
• Move furniture from racks and unload/load trucks.
• Maintain an orderly receiving area and verify shipments.
• Operate mechanical equipment as required.

Salary: $19-$21 per hour based upon experience

Plus an additional $1 for every hour worked in the building

Sunday - Thursday 8:00PM - Completion

Major Function

• To stock racks with incoming merchandise and pull merchandise off racks for scheduled deliveries

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as a cherry picker or clamp truck and get certified (company paid).
• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly receiving area.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Heavy lifting required up to 150 lbs.
• Must comply with Havertys safety requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout shift.
• Team Player.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, lifting assessment, and drug test including testing for THC.
• Must complete and understand all company-sponsored safety programs.

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting: must wear proper Havertys-provided uniforms, steel-toed work boots/shoes required, safety gear when applicable.
• Overnight, Sunday - Thursday, [insert time] to completion

Physical Demands

• Must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position.
• You must be able to stand for extended periods and operate various equipment, such as cherry pickers and clamp trucks. Responsibilities include moving furniture from racks and unloading and loading trucks.
