Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a safety‑minded warehouse team in North Little Rock, AR. The role offers a $20.00 base rate plus $1 shift differential and requires reliable attendance, basic reading skills, and the ability to operate a stand‑up forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers using a stand-up clamp forklift.
• Move large products within the warehouse.
• Comply with safety requirements.
• Scan products using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Communicate with associates from other shifts.
• Read work orders or oral instructions to determine assignments.
• Record units moved on production sheets or tickets.
• Review schedules to determine items to move or distribute.
• Distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
• Operate forklifts and related warehouse equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Monday to Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am

• $20.00 base rate + $1 shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads trailers with a stand up clamp-operator forklift
• Move large products within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved,
• gathered, or distributed
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production
• workers or assembly line
• Operate forklifts and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
