Penske Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in North Little Rock, AR. This role requires safety awareness and a pleasant, outgoing attitude, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, moving products, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsabilités

• Loads and unloads trailers with a stand up clamp-operator forklift.
• Move large products within the warehouse.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Communicate with associates from other shifts.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Operate forklifts and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment where applicable.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Monday to Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

• $19.00 base rate
