Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking associates for a warehouse role in North Little Rock, AR. Monday to Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am with a base rate of $19.00 plus a $1 shift differential.

Eligible for benefits including PTO, health and life insurances, 401K, and boot allowance after 90 days. Responsibilities include loading/unloading using stand-up forklift, scanning with WMS, following schedules, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• No prior forklift or warehouse experience required, but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specified location.
• Must complete Penske application, background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads trailers with a stand-up clamp-operator forklift.
• Move large products within the warehouse.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Communicate with associates from other shifts.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and needs.
• Record numbers of units moved on production sheets or work tickets.
• Read schedules/orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to production workers.
• Operate forklifts and related warehouse equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads trailers with a stand up clamp-operator forklift
• Move large products within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
• Operate forklifts and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
