Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑conscious team in Winlock, WA. The role includes loading/unloading, staging products, and operating basic warehouse equipment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work a fast-paced schedule are essential. We offer competitive pay by shift ($22/hr on 1st shift; $22/hr with a $1/hr differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts) plus benefits like PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Match numbers and letters accurately.
• Stage and sort products for loading.

• Read production schedules and orders to move or stock items.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety requirements.
• Pack, label and handle containers and pallets as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes.

Position Summary

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Shifts Available

1st Shift Mon - Thur 5am-330pm

2nd Shift Mon - Thur 4pm-230am

3rd Shift Fri - Sun 8am-830pm

Pay

1st Shift: $22/hr

2nd Shift: $22/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential

3rd Shift: $22/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential *Work 36 hours get paid 40 hours

Major Responsibilities

Job requirements may include the following where applicable:

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location)
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
