Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. is seeking personnel for the B2 shift to learn customer product specifications and sort incoming raw produce (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.).

The role focuses on maximizing usable product by ensuring items meet specifications enter finished packages and others are properly sorted and separated. Qualified candidates should be able to learn extensive product knowledge, make quick, correct decisions, and perform physical tasks in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

B2 Shift: Thursday-Saturday every other Wed from 5qpm-5am

Primary Function:

Learn various customer product specifications, and work on production lines to sort incoming raw product (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) according to these specifications. This critical function is responsible for maximizing the usage of incoming product by ensuring that all product that meets the specifications goes into a finished package, while any product that does not meet the specifications gets properly sorted and separated.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Ability to learn and retain a wealth of product and customer knowledge.
• Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly.
• Manual dexterity: ability to work with hands for the entire shift.

Working Conditions:

• Refrigerated warehouse (40 degrees).
• Must be capable of frequently lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Position requires standing and walking for the entire shift.
