Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in Livonia, MI is seeking a dedicated team member for B1 shift (Thu-Sat, plus every other Wednesday 5am-5pm) to learn customer product specifications and sort incoming peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other produce on production lines.

You will maximize usage of in-spec product by accurate sorting, with physical work in a refrigerated warehouse at 40 degrees, standing/walking all shift, and lifting up to 30 lbs; prior produce or production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Learn and memorize general and customer-oriented specifications for raw product.
• Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly.
• Manual dexterity: ability to work with hands for the entire shift.

B1 shift: Thursday- Saturday, every other Wednesday 5am-5pm

Primary Function:

Learn various customer product specifications, and work on production lines to sort incoming raw product (peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) according to these specifications. This critical function is responsible for maximizing the usage of incoming product by ensuring that all product that meets the specifications goes into a finished package, while any product that does not meet the specifications gets properly sorted and separated.
