This position in CT offers a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Fulfill all responsibilities as outlined in the Fork Lift Driver Job Description.
2. Operate Robot Equipment and all PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Equipment, including walkie, rider, sit-down, and hi-lo reach forklifts.
3. Perform basic battery maintenance and change batteries as needed.
4. Manually palletize products, ensuring they are in saleable condition and pallets are suitable for use, using proper lifting techniques.
5. Operate stretch wrapping equipment to secure pallets properly and stage products from robot or manual stations.
6. Load and unload trailers, verifying product, checking equipment, and completing paperwork.
7. Put away and retrieve products, ensuring proper stacking and recording inventory movements.
8. Create pallet tags and license plates for warehouse inventory.
9. Assist in all warehouse activities as needed, including palletizing, stretch wrapping, and forklift operation.
10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, report damages or unsafe conditions immediately, and comply with all safety policies and regulations.
11. Support food safety and quality standards in accordance with SQF requirements, reporting issues promptly.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified PIT Operator.
• Basic math and computer skills, with experience in Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for 6-8 hours, walking frequently, bending, twisting, and lifting (<30 lbs frequently, >30 lbs occasionally).
• Pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Work in freezer environments with temperatures from +40 F to -20 F.
