This position in CT pays $20.00/hour.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate Fork Lift and Robot Equipment as per job description.
  • Operate all PIT equipment including Walkie, Rider, Sit-Down, Hi-Lo Reach.
  • Perform battery maintenance and change batteries when needed.
  • Manually palletize products, ensuring they are in saleable condition and pallets are acceptable.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and maintain stretch wrapping operations.
  • Pull, label, and stage product pallets from robot or manual stations.
  • Load and unload trailers safely, verifying product and completing paperwork.
  • Put away and retrieve products, ensuring proper stacking and documentation.
  • Create license plates and generate pallet tickets for warehouse inventory.
  • Assist in all warehouse activities, work effectively as part of a team, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Follow all company, state, and federal safety and operational policies.
  • Report damages, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report unsafe conditions or injuries promptly.
  • Complete required safety training.
SQF Requirements:

Maintain food safety and quality by keeping the work area sanitary and reporting food safety issues.

  • Support food safety initiatives and report problems to authorized personnel.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • PIT Operator Certification.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand 6-8 hours, frequently walk, bend, twist wrists and spine.
  • Lift light to moderate loads (<30 lbs frequently, >30 lbs occasionally).
  • Work in freezer environments (+40°F to -20°F).
