Green Rabbit, recently acquired by Performance Food Group and operating under their Vistar segment, is looking for a 2nd shift warehouse associate.

Starting Rate: $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm

Position Purpose & Job Summary:

The General Warehouse Associate – Pickers and Shippers plays a key role in fulfilling orders. Pickers retrieve inventory using an automated headset system and ensure accurate order assembly. Shippers prepare orders for shipment, perform quality checks, and ensure proper packaging. Both roles support additional warehouse functions and assist with other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Picker:

• Use an automated headset system to pull inventory from shelves
• Ensure correct items are placed in boxes for order accuracy
• Maintain efficient picking pace to meet order volume

Shipper:

• Interpret prompts to identify products for shipment
• Package products securely for transport
• Perform quality control checks
• Collaborate with other departments as needed

Perform other tasks as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor to support operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift repeatedly; lift between 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 60-90 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
