Shifts are approximately 10-12 hours long.

With our Flex Scheduling options, a true work-life balance is within reach at US Foods! Multiple full-time flexible schedules available, including both 5-day and 4-day work weeks:

• 5-day work week (2 days off)
• 4-day work week (3 days off)

Starting pay for selectors is $18/hr., with potential to increase to $32.56/hr. plus incentives once selecting at 97% or above in the dry area, cooler, and freezer.

Main Responsibilities of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet jack safely
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Ensure correct, damage-free products are selected
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders
• Clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging areas

Physical Requirements

• Work comfortably in environments ranging from -5 to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly; move over 1,000 cases per shift

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English for training, safety, and operational purposes
• Willingness to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Recent experience in high-endurance or physically demanding roles preferred
• Experience with large-scale order selection and operating motorized pallet jacks preferred
