Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Flex Order Puller/Shipper for a full-time warehouse role. You will pick merchandise with RF scanners, pull items to fill orders, and ensure shipments are accurate and properly prepared.

The job requires reading, counting, basic math, and the ability to stand 8–10 hours per shift. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fast-paced team environment; experience as an order selector is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. He/she must be able to operate radio frequency scanner.
• Experience as an order selector is a plus but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able to push cases on carts up to 100 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.
• Demonstrate safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transport pulled items to the shipping area.
• Must verify product for shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments.
• Understand and perform Bulk and specialty shipment methods.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Must reach and maintain production standards; assist in all warehouse areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push cases on carts up to 100 lbs and be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours.
• Repetitive hand and wrist extension and flexion to complete product assembly.
• Reach, stoop, and pull items 2 lbs above shoulder.
• Work overtime as needed.
