Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) in Westmont, IL, is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet customers, assist with shoe fittings, operate the POS system, and maintain store standards while representing SAS’s American-made footwear philosophy. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Some computer ability with POS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store per SAS procedures and standards.
• Make weekly bank deposits.
• Greet customers warmly and engage them in conversation.
• Assist customers with seating, foot measurements, and selecting SAS shoes.
• Show various shoe categories, handbags, and care products.
• Operate POS systems for sales, returns, and transfers.
• Develop product knowledge and demonstrate enthusiasm for SAS products.
• Be ready for scheduled shifts and complete special projects as assigned.
