San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Warehouse Worker to fill a full-time Flex Order Puller/Shipper role.

You will pick merchandise with RF scanners, verify orders for accuracy, prepare shipments, and transport items to the shipping area while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This position may require overtime and adherence to production standards.

Responsabilités

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transport pulled items to the shipping area.
• Verify product for shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments.
• Understand and perform the different methods of shipments - Bulk and specialty shipments.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Meet production standards and assist in all warehouse areas as needed.

Position

SAS has an opening for a Flex Order Puller/Shipper

Job Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transport pulled items to the shipping area.
• Must be able to verify product for shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments.
• Understand and perform the different methods of shipments - Bulk and specialty shipments.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Must be able to reach and maintain company production standards.
• Must be able to assist in all areas of the warehouse as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push cases on carts up to 100 lbs and be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
• Repetitive hand and wrist extension and flexion to complete product assembly.
• Reach, stoop, and pull items 2 lbs above shoulder.
• Work overtime as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. He/she must be able to operate radio frequency scanner.
• Experience as an order selector is a plus but not required.
