San Antonio Shoemakers is hiring a Flex Order Puller/Shipper in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role involves picking merchandise with RF scanners, pulling orders, and ensuring accurate, damage-free shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL.

You will transport items to shipping and may perform inventories while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and ability to read, count, and write clearly; RF scanner experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read, count, write legibly and operate a radio frequency scanner.
• Order selector experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transport pulled items to the shipping area.
• Verify product for shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL.
• Understand methods of shipments - Bulk and specialty.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Reach and maintain production standards; assist in all warehouse areas as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from bins using RF scanners.
• Pull material according to the order ticket and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transport pulled items to the shipping area.
• Must be able to verify product for shipments via UPS, FedEx and LTL shipments.
• Understand and perform the different methods of shipments - Bulk and specialty shipments.
• Conduct physical inventories as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Must be able to reach and maintain company production standards.
• Must be able to assist in all areas of the warehouse as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push cases on carts up to 100 lbs and be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
• Repetitive hand and wrist extension and flexion to complete product assembly.
• Reach, stoop, and pull items 2 lbs above shoulder.
• Work overtime as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. He/she must be able to operate radio frequency scanner.
• Experience as an order selector is a plus but not required.
