Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Retail Receiver and Inspector for full-time work in our distribution center. You will inspect incoming shoes, label and box items, and ensure records are correctly entered into the D365 system, while coordinating with leads to resolve receipt issues.

The role requires 8 weeks of training in shoe inspection, good attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to assist in various DC tasks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shoes received are of 1st quality.
• Identify all shoes that are not 1st quality and isolate.
• Clean and re-box all shoes as needed.
• Ensure that all shoes are received in D365 system.
• Tag all shoes with a unique identifier (LPs).
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Receive against RO/Transfer Orders and track timely receipt.
• Communicate with Lead/Supervisor on issues with receipts.
• Account for all old Transfer orders/ROs and receipts within time window.
• Assist in receiving of the truck containing Finish Goods.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Move shoes to appropriate areas and assist in all DC operations.

Position

Job Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push cases on cart up to 100lbs & lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
• Repetitive hand and wrist extension and flexion to complete product assembly.
• Reach, stoop, and pull items above shoulder.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Experience of inspection of Shoes
• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
