Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Reading, PA. Starting pay rate is $23.56 hourly. 1st shift—Mon-Fri, 9 AM–5 PM with occasional overtime. This is a full-time position with weekly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, picking orders with RF equipment, operating forklifts, receiving inventory, and following safety procedures. OT may be required on occasion. Applicants must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work in a non-temperature controlled

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and order pickers.
• Wear PPE as required (gloves, safety glasses, face shields, safety boots).
• Work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Overtime availability, including occasional Saturdays.
• Perform duties independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, totes and drums safely following procedures.
• Pick orders using RF equipment and motorized handling gear.
• Operate forklift and related material handling equipment.
• Receive and store inventory per processes.
• Follow dock and safety procedures for trailer entry.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Assist with training other employees and cover tasks as needed.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to safely unload various pallets, totes, drums, etc.
• Picking orders using RF equipment with material handling motorized equipment
• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Receive and put away inventory following established processes.
• Follow all dock and safety procedures associated with entering trailers.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Assist with training other employees.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment.
• Wearing protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, bump caps, steel toe boots/shoes and other PPE as required.
• Capability of working in a Non-Temperature controlled environment.
• Availability to work overtime - occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
