Overview
The Goods Flow Team Member plays a key role in maintaining product availability through efficient restocking, inventory handling, and waste removal. This position supports overall store operations while ensuring a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment.
Job Description
Execute daily goods flow tasks to ensure products are available and accessible to customers
Use IKEA systems and tools to support efficient goods handling and maintain inventory accuracy
Follow inventory routines to optimize stock levels and product availability
Adhere to IKEA’s safety, health, and security standards, promoting a safe work environment for all
Support store goals by participating in daily action plans and working in a lean, cost-conscious manner
Share knowledge and best practices with team members to support overall efficiency
Restock shelves and merchandise in assigned areas with urgency and accuracy
Remove and transport cardboard, trash, and packaging materials as needed
Interact with customers positively and professionally when required
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and communicate effectively with IKEA coworkers
Required Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Access to a mobile device with internet connectivity
Strong communication and customer service orientation
Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
Maintains urgency and attention to cleanliness throughout the shift
