Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items, and reporting discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts, possibly after training.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders of products, supplies, and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to other client locations, using carts or industrial vehicles as needed.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
• Complete administrative duties, including inventory records, temperature logs, equipment inspections, and other relevant documentation, either manually or electronically.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
• Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures, using all required safety and protective equipment.
• Ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as required.
