Job Description
Responsible for assembling cabinets in a safe and orderly manner while following the quality standards set by the company. Assembly workers follow written and verbal instructions from team leads or supervisors. They perform general labor tasks using pneumatic tools and engaging in bending, twisting, pulling, and lifting. Workers are trained in multiple positions and must adhere to the rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Cover all positions on the line as needed due to absenteeism.
• Cross-train and meet cycle time in multiple areas.
• Assist with new hire training per SOPs.
• Participate in daily process and quality audits.
• Help set and maintain line pace to meet 85% efficiency or higher.
• Perform other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clear directions to team members.
• Adherence to MBC processes, safety, and quality standards.
• Effective communication with employees.
• No corrective discipline on file in the past year.
• Knowledge of 8-10 PAT line positions.
• Ability to learn all PAT line positions by deadlines set by supervisor.
• Ability to learn picking and ship scanning processes by deadlines.
• Flexibility to support projects and training as needed.
• Follow instructions from team leads and supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk for at least 10 hours.
• Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 1st shift: 6 am - 4:30 pm
• 2nd shift: 5 pm - 3:30 am
• Overtime as needed.
