Warehouse Worker
Pay: $21.45/hr
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: London, KY 40741

The dress code is casual attire and steel-toe boots or steel-toe sneakers.

Overview

The Checker/Loader role is a vital part of the distribution team at the bakery, sales center, or distribution center. This entry-level position supports front-line operations involved in the movement and handling of product orders.

Job Description

• Move stacks of product within the facility
• Use pick-to-light systems or voice-activated equipment for order selection
• Fill orders according to delivery routes
• Load and unload trucks efficiently
• Follow protocols to maintain food safety and quality standards
• Report and prevent food safety or quality issues
• Comply with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans and related audit requirements

Required Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of stacking and carrying trays, pushing and pulling product stacks
• Reliable team player attentive to quality and safety
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
