Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a warehouse associate in Knoxville, TN. This is a physically demanding role in a non-climate controlled environment; you must handle heavy lifting and work well in a team to serve our customers.

You will unload and inspect inbound product (50–75 lb), pull and load for customers, and deliver in a 26’ box truck. You’ll assist with inventory and damage control, with Monday–Friday hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50–75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.
• Ability to operate in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.

In this position you will :

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license , with at least one year of driving experience
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
• Demonstrated history of steady employment

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 7 a- 3 :30 p with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is $ 2 1-23 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications . Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
