Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Kearney, NE to perform warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, and delivery setup.

The role emphasizes safety, precise order preparation, and efficient material handling within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing bin locations, and providing strong customer service.

Qualifications

  • Attention to health and safety policies as per company guidelines.
  • Ability to prepare and pull orders for customer pickup or delivery.
  • Load and unload trucks when required, with proper safety.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize damage during handling.
  • Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations for efficient picking.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary The primary function of the Warehouse Worker is to be responsible for areas of warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, product storage, and delivery setup.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy
  • Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary
  • Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy
  • Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations
  • Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to company operating standards
  • Ability to operate a forklift
