Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Co. is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Huron, OH. This full-time position starts at $19.52 per hour with a $2.00 shift premium and includes evenings on the 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM) with occasional overtime or weekend work.

You will perform warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, shipping, and inventory management in a safe, clean environment. Join a team focused on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts (stand up and sit down) and other equipment.
• Wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats as required.
• Work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Overtime and some Saturdays may be required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, totes, drums safely following procedures.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Receive and store inventory following processes.
• Follow dock and safety procedures for entering trailers.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Assist with training other employees.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Warehouse Worker in Huron, OH

Starting Pay Rate: $19.52 plus $2.00 shift premium.

2nd shift : 3 PM-11 pm, Monday- Friday. Occasional overtime might be required during peak season. You would also work weekends occasionally in this role as well.

We're looking for a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse Worker to join our architectural coatings distribution team at The Pittsburgh Paints Co. You'll perform a variety of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, shipping, and inventory management-all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities May Include

• Follow established procedures to safely unload various pallets, totes, drums, etc.
• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Receive and put away inventory following established processes.
• Follow all dock and safety procedures associated with entering trailers.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Assist with training other employees.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts(stand up and sitdown), and other equipment.
• Wearing protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required.
• Capability of working in a Non-Temperature controlled environment.
• Availability to work overtime and some Saturdays.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
