Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Selector in Greensburg, PA to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders in a fast-paced environment. You will palletize and stage orders, operate an electric pallet jack, and use order selecting software to move products to the dock area.

The role requires 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday–Thursday availability, and prior experience with heavy physical activity. Benefits begin on day one and compensation depends on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, follow safety protocols, and enter information on reports.
• Experience in high-endurance or highly physical activities is preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders safely and accurately, ensuring correct items and undamaged products.
• Palletize items and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport pallets to the dock area and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Collaborate with team to keep aisles clean and equipment returned to charging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner. **Key Responsibilities*** **Selecting:**Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.* **Palletizing:**Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.* **Operation:**Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.* **Fulfillment:**Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.* **Staging:**Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.* **Collaborate:**Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.* **Adaptability:** All other duties assigned by management. **Physical Requirements*** Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees required.* Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required.* Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.**Qualifications*** Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.* Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
