Job summary

US Foods in Billings, MT is seeking a Night Warehouse Selector to join our fast-paced distribution center. You will safely and accurately select customer orders, palletize them, and move products to the dock using an electric pallet jack and order selecting software.

This role requires English literacy, the ability to work 8+ hour night shifts, and the stamina to lift 20–80+ lbs and move 1,000+ cases per shift. Base pay ranges from $24.40 to $30.50 per hour, with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• 8+ hour night shifts are required.
• Experience with high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selecting: Safely and accurately select customer orders and confirm products are correct and undamaged.
• Palletizing: Construct and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Operation: Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Fulfillment: Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Staging: Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Collaborate: Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• Adaptability: Perform all other duties assigned by management.

Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner. **Key Responsibilities*** **Selecting:**Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.* **Palletizing:**Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.* **Operation:**Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.* **Fulfillment:**Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.* **Staging:**Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.* **Collaborate:**Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.* **Adaptability:** All other duties assigned by management. **Physical Requirements*** Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees required.* Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required.* Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.**Qualifications*** Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.* Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays are required.* Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.* Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.* Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.**About US FOODS**Click here to learn more!
