Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting and a non-climate controlled environment.

You will unload and inspect items, stage and load products for customers, and occasionally deliver in a 26' box truck. Requirements include being 21+, valid driver's license with driving experience, ability to pass DOT requirements, and strong reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement.
• Must pass all DOT requirements including physical, background screening, and a MVR that meets Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75lb) by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.

In this position you will

• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control

The Details: This position is full-time Monday - Friday with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is$19-21based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
